<li>1 pound boneless chicken, cut into cubes</li>
<li>1 cup plain yogurt</li>
<li>2 tablespoons lemon juice</li>
<li>2 tablespoons vegetable oil</li>
<li>2 teaspoons ground cumin</li>
<li>2 teaspoons ground coriander</li>
<li>1 teaspoon garam masala</li>
<li>1 teaspoon turmeric powder</li>
<li>1 teaspoon chili powder</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
<li>Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)</li>

<li>In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.</li>
<li>Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).</li>
<li>Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.</li>
<li>Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.</li>
<li>Grill or bake for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.</li>
