Sweet and Sour Chicken

  1. In a bowl, mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add onion and bell peppers, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add pineapple chunks and the sauce mixture. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over cooked rice.
